So I have made this simple little dual sequencer patch to use live, each one is 4 linked note sequencers which at the moment are outputting to two different very simple synths. I want to be able to record the note values for each one in real time. I set up a monophonic keyboard input and ran the pitch and gate outputs to the two sequencers, but running them through on/off toggles so that I can decide which sequencer I want to have recording at a given time. The problem I'm having is that for some reason, holding down a key shifts the entire sequence up or down depending on the key I hit. This happens even when the switch is set to off, so theoretically there should be no signal going to the sequencer at all.

I'm really scratching my head over this one. All keyboard trackings are set to off (not that there are many), I'm stumped.

Any ideas?

fixed it.

I have to wait a bit longer before posting here when I have problems, it's going to be a cry wolf situation where when I have a real one I can't fix, everyone will be like "he's going to figure it out in a couple hours, leave him to it". Then I'm effed.

Kind of embarrassing, but I forgot to save it with keyboard tracking off, so when I reopened it, it was on when i assumed it was off without checking.
