Some images from the second Red Bull Air Race this year in Rovinj, Croatia, 12-13th April ...

I hoped to make some field recordings during the takeoff/landing/training at the Vrsar airport nearby (where there was no crowd around) but the crappy chinese recorder failed to access the crappy chinese flash card most of the time Confused

Wow that's a cool looking bird! Looks really out of place in the city, although I suppose it catches stuff a bit higher up in the sky normally.
