Clayed with Taiga, nanobox lemon and acoustica (with some vst stuff).

The nanobox stuff needed editing anyway as their is some USB noisehum .. acoustica is not bad at cleaning up stuff btw.

Made in mom's living room.

Holderje is Frisian with it's 3rd meaning being : just blurting everything out .. and some variatins on that.

Don't really know .. this was made with ms-20, taiga, lemon drop, 0-ctrl and guitar [got me a set of new strings for my old guitar] played on and trough that .. it was clayed a bit to make it longer, have less dynamics, then have more .. so I guess it is a wave clay .. and mor tar than gui.

ehm .. yes .. this is an old guitar track being recycled Cool

Posted Image

yes .. wave clayed from a 1992 guitar track Shocked

Oh .. and a sampled bit of a certain tiny handed chief of an illegally occupied part of the world which-n-who can not be mentioned [and that also causes inaudability of the samples.. a blank paper protest .. say .. where it is not being said .. yet you know .. it]

I may be doing more of that - it is quite fun - the recycle stuff - ow and hiding samples .. or not hiding . .but processing .. dunno Exclamation

These three last ones are lovely Jan - they've put me in a nice relaxed state here.

Listening to 2026_05_17_blue_hell_holderje_145 currently Smile

This was made from a couple of guitar notes - the guitar was prepared with some folded paper between the strings .. not that such is very audible :)

Then things were decorated with Wren trough this small patch (not with the shown settings though, the idea is to use (random) audio rate modulations of a short delay line - with feedback applied, recursive delay) .. not that such is very audible.

Both were manipulated with the oneiroi and some vst thingies, then manipulated and mixed with a wave editor.

The title was taken from the name of a 1911-1917 magazine : https://www.marxists.org/history/usa/pubs/masses/index.htm

And I should have just named it 'masses'

The Masses - two guitar notes - amazing. This is great music to listen too while coding. It gives me the feeling of a long train ride.

ok .. some more

mirrors smoke

Posted Image

featuring a little bit of the first use of the etches - I like it :)

and then

autumn

some older stuf i was working on .. old enough to let me forget what I did exactly .. probably recycled guitar .. nut not sure :)

Posted Image

Anyway, clayed they definitively were.

And now working on the patch panel .. 3.5mm breakout box .. what is it .. or actually it is done .. the idea is that it brings the midi to cv (my good old kenton pro 4 .. too bad it does not have the linear CV option) closer to the analog devices. So that I can use Wren to play them. And I did not have .. nor want .. enough long 3.5mm cables (so I soldered for two days .. and bought a table drill o_O ).

Posted Image

The first 20 channels are assigned .. channel A to D voltage, gate and trigger, and 8 aux chanels which will come from CC values.

And then there are 16 spare channels for other analog things that are too far out :)

Oh and it does have cable and plug markers now .. so that (1) is (A CV) .. and such.

I like the images you've been putting up. The music too, of course. The two go together like an album cover.

Hmmm

Images .. started with that in 2014 .. occasionally .. but from 2019 or so every published recording seems to get one .. sometimes before there is music, sometimes after .. mostly during .. maybe :)

I also keep images for possible future use for music .. like attached one from today .. no idea if it will be used but I like that damaged, and filthy, paint .. it is beautiful .. and will now clean it a bit :)

But in music, I seem to be looking for broken and filthy things too .. as if it reflects the state of the world .. of humanity I mean . .or humankind (english is a disaster for non-natives, the constant struggle for words).
