The idea of this thread is so that A6 enthusiasts can post links to music videos and mp3's featuring this great synth. I'll start by posting three songs which feature the A6.

I have a very rare video which im currently getting transfered from tape. It is the original 8 minute official Andromeda promotion video.....never before seen in the public domain. Presumably this would have been shown at trade fairs and maybe some copies would have been circulated. I will update you when its ready....

Band videos

Jamiroquai - Moogy Lead

PetShopBoys - Posing with the A6

Depche Mode - A6 bass

Xelius Project - Retrò electronique

Here´s one of Tiesto´s studio...

It´s funny because obviously the translation is not real.

Here´s more:

Jean Michel Jarre (he´s like crazy with his A6):

http://extra.msn.be/jarre/nl.asp#

(there´re three parts: deel1, deel2 and deel3)

Jamiroquai:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OHV50EJSho
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whCWBuv0O2c
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us3WwrNS5ts

Duran Duran:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAj6iWIwFrM

And here´s some MP3s from me:

An A6 "song":

And a Moogy Bass:

(To see a description of each MP3 just click on the t))) button on the twango player)

Sorry, I can´t download the DIGITAL SCREAMS´s MP3 pack. Megaupload ALWAYS says "Unfortunately, all available bandwidth is currently reserved for our premium customers". If someone is kind enough to upload them somewhere else, like yousendit.com, would be greatly appreciated.

nice the a6 song , nice metalic edge, the drums ren't a6 i presume?
the moogbass sounds familiar , and what a bass really had to turn the computer low not to crack the speakers, be warned.
( some idea to put the moogpatch down too/, or am i asked too much after the things already sent?)

Thanx Sunny. As I said there´s a description on the Twango page. There it says that the drums were done on the A6. It was multitracked, of course.
Didn´t saved the bass patch, as always. But it´s one voice only, not Unison.
All the info is on the Twango page.

Cheers,

Just found these additional A6 demos on a retailer's website:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Alesis-Andromeda-61Key-Analog-Synthesizer?sku=705590

They play in a pop-up window, so I couldn't link the MP3's themselves, sorry.
