drum tap tempo, for drum machine

[wlott]

Hey, i am currently using an old'er Korg Electribe for making drum beats to be played live.

However, i am faced with a dilemma, i really want to be able to attach some kind of pad or trigger so that before hitting play on it, i can tap the tempo with my drum stick. Also, it would be great to have a pad for sort of a start/stop button..

basically i just want to be able to have basic controls via hitting a pad with my drumstick while playing. Is there any way to realistically do it?

You could use something like a midi pedal to set the tap tempo with.

Maybe the fcb-1010, the new moog pedal, or the ploytech pedal.

google the above and see if any work for you.
