Hi,

I want to start producing tech/minimal/progressive house. Think dusty kid, luetzenkirchen, aril brikha, chemical brothers (their older works) etc.

I'm going to be pairing up this keyboard with a pair of Dynaudio BM6a's and either a fireface400 or dac1. Main objective is in the box using Reason 4. However i figure the cost of midi controllers arn't worth it so i might as well pay a bit extra for a decent synth. One that is capable of sending midi messages with all knobs/sliders so that it can interact with a soft sequencer.

At first i thought Novation x-station 61 would be good, ableit not a "proper" good sounding synth. But i've heard the key action is similar or near same to the Remote SL and i've tested the SL and give it the thumbs up for key action. But for an extra 400 or i could get a much better decent synth like the nord lead 2x. However i just found out that they no longer sell them anymore and would not like a used one. Plus they don't have aftertouch and i've read the key action is average.

I'm looking at spending $1k usd but there doesn't seem to be any others that fit the bill. But if there is something out there that has good key action, good for techhouse, acts as a good midi controller, then i'd like to hear about it!

Thanks
