strobo sapien twitch-hop utopian

Hi everyone.

I was a low-tech space-head making a mixture of abstract hip-hop, plunderphonics, science fiction novels, and cartoonish synth-pop for several years. Then I went back to college as an undergraduate math major.

I'm much more into 'pure' math and have only recently gotten into computers. Programming is especially new. But I'm really enjoying it. My main mathematical interests (at this moment) are topology, graph theory, and abstract algebra.

If you're interested in the music I made once upon a time, you can check it out at www.soundclick.com/andrewoctopus I'm always down to collaborate, and am especially eager to contribute vocals. I'd like to hear from anyone who shares my musical or mathematical interests. I'm always curious to learn new things.

One more thing--I host a weekly radio show, if any of you would like to provide me with material, I'd be happy to consider it.

By the way, Asheville, NC is pretty close to this year's electro-music Festival in mid-August, just in case you haven't seen this announcement.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the interesting links! I'm interested in so many things right now it's really hard to know which ones to prioritize.

I actually plan on attending the electro-music festival, though I haven't purchased tickets yet. I hope to bring instruments and code for jam sessions, too.
