Hello All,
i'm wondering if anyone has built and/or bent either the Triwave Picogenerator or Noise Swash from 4ms Pedals? My own personal plan is to house the two pcb's behind one Serge-style (shop) panel & find some interesting cross-points between the two which would become additional functions. I'd also like to whack a couple of joysticks on there, as my unit will be used as a self-oscillating device rather than a pedal with inputs.
I'm interested in hearing any thoughts & observations from whoever may have had a go at something along those lines...Thanks,
-Taz

Sounds like a fantastic plan... go for it!

I have a boutique distortion pedal from our guitarist and some half broken boss pedals... never got to modifying them. Maybe your project could spark some inspiration. Please let us know how the joystick/new interface goes. I am really interested in modding an effect unit to a stand alone unit too.

EDIT: the pedal I have laying around is the MI audio crunchbox. Too nice to change, we'll see. Cool

Thanks for the encouragement, Alexander- it's most appreciated. If it turns out looking ok, i'll definitely place it in the photo files section. Sound Transform System (STS/Serge) modular shop panels gave me the inspiration for this project. Ideally i'd like to build quite a few circuit bent modular synthesizer panels, ie. incorporating a range of pcb's where i bring to the front panel a multitude of bends & cross-modulating bends, hopefully with cv control. Essentially it will be a circuit-bent modular, mostly unpredictable & strange. And as you suggest, many pedals could be ideal to re-house in such a system, whereby it might become another modulation source, for example.
I also really look forward to designing the panels. I've heard of a place that makes one off panels from one's own artwork thats been done in a computer program. Does anyone know where i can find this site and/or what kinds of panel sizes they're able to do?
-thanks,
Taz
