help figuring out patch
I feel really dumb asking this, but I'm unable to get the general parameters for a particular sound - I'm attaching an mp3 - it's the repeated 4-note pattern. Every waveform I try sounds too buzzy (or the LPF is closed so much my patch sounds muted) except the triangle which isn't strong enough. If anyone has any ideas it would be great. I'm trying this on a Prophet 08 but also have an MS-20 and MS-50. Thanks.

The original Minimoog had a ramp/triangle type waveform inbetween the sawtooth and the triangle; I'm wondering if this patch is an example of that. Not many synths that I know of (for some reason) seem to have that waveform.
If you play this stuff by hand then an Octave Cat will be able to be sound just as cool. The MS synths have a certain signature flavour that kinda doesn´t quite deliver the goods. Possibly the moog ladder filter will help you get closer. But then there is something about the VCOs and the envelopes and such.. I dunno.
