Subject description: What a tragic waste!

I've just watched a documentary about the Dutch Romany string jazz guitarist Jimmy Rosenberg, the former child prodigy. What a heart-rending experience, there's so much joy and life affirmation in his playing, and in his more "lucid" moments - sadly he has lost his way and is currently more or less crippled by addictions and other personal demons.
Anyways, I'm gunna get some of his music ASAP!

It's always tragic, for sure. You saw the film in which his father also gives his thoughts about it?

Yep! You know the Rosenbergs are famous for their music and Jimmy was introduced to the world at a rather young age. My brother and me saw it on Dutch television and Jimmy couldn't say two words after each other without a terrible stuttering. My brother said to me the boy wasn't able to cope with it all...

have you ever wondered how many musicians were addicts? it comes with the trade somehow, i guess... and its ok. the only freedpom we have left is to deliberately do things that are bad for us.

Right, I´ve timed the EyeTV/Elgato box for the repeat.
