I've just made my newest MAUI ChucK program (sorry, Mac only) available for download on my new website.

Just click on the www link below to see the site, including a mugshot of yours truly. Then use the links at the top or the right to see the pages. The page called "ChucK" has the three best programs that I have ever written in ChucK and also a link to my old ChucK web page with lots of goodies.

The Shane16.ck ambient space music program features a selectable number of Karplus Strong voices each driven by a Boolean Sequencer. It also has rainstorm stuff from kijjaz and an XY mouse interface for warping the audio like a lunatic! And I specialize in lunacy if you know what I mean!

Enjoy,

Les

Oh and I forgot to mention that the Boolean Sequencer in the Shane16.ck program is neatly packed into a class which you can reuse in other programs (this does not require a Mac). In fact, here is the class for your convenience:

Code:
// Boolean Sequencer Class
class BooleanSequencer {

    // variables
    int switches[];  // the switch settings
    int b;  // the binary counter
    int sum;  // sum of switches that match
    int bitMask;  // rollover bit mask

    // set switches
    fun void set(int array[]) {
        array @=> switches;
    }

    fun void setBits(int n) {
        (Math.pow(2, n) - 1) $ int => bitMask;
    }

    // reset counter
    fun void reset() {
        0 => b;
    }

    // perform one iteration of the sequencer
    fun void iterate() {
        0 => sum;
        for (int i; i<switches.cap(); i++) {
            ((switches[i] & b) == switches[i]) +=> sum;
        }
        1 +=> b;  // increment b
        bitMask & b => b;  // make b an 8 bit counter
    }

    // get the sum
    fun int getSum() {
        return sum;
    }

    // get the gate
    fun int getGate() {
        if (sum > 0) {
            return true;
        } else {
            return false;
        }
    }
}

I have a feeling you left html on on that code, Les. The for loop looks kinda weird. Wink
